Island Kayak Tours is a travel company based on Russell Island, Queensland Australia. We offer guided tours to beautiful locations in Moreton Bay. Our kayaks are safe and stable and great for beginners and experienced alike. Join in an exciting adventure tour to South Stradbroke Island and other locations where Dolphins, Dugong, Turtles, Sea Eagles and Whistling Kite can be seen. Travel along beautiful Canaipa Passage, Never Never Creek, Swan Bay and Jumpinpin area's.

Explore the islands of Russell, Lamb, Macleay and Karragarra and other places of interest. Children under 12 must accompany an adult on a double kayak and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Safety gear and equipment provided to ensure an enjoyable but safe day.

3 Hour Tour North

Departing Jock Kennedy park, at the Northern end of Russell Island on an incoming tide, gliding through the mangroves almost unheard, to view the local habitat, surprising eagles, fish etc, while circumnavigating Karragarra Island. Half way through the journey we stop on Karragarra's sandy beach for a rest and refreshments, before returning to Russell Island.

3 Hour Tour South

This tour starts from the Southern end of Russell Island at Sandy Beach. We paddle the beautiful Canaipa passage under the North Stradbroke islands sand hills. We travel between small mangrove islands to our destination on a secluded beach on Stradbroke's South Western side. After our refreshments and a relax or swim, we return to Sandy Beach.

Overnight Camping

South Stradbroke Island. Camping equipment is supplied but bring your own sleeping bag, towel, hat and sunscreen.

Custom Made

Decide on your own area to explore or a beach to enjoy. Just ask, we can design for your specific needs.

We also offer a 5 hour tour north and a 5 hour tour south.
